The entire crew except Arthur M. Maatta (lack of blood) survived the Operational flight

Arthur was KIA when the plane was on the way back and was suddenly hit by FLAK and crashed, on June 25, 1944.

Arthur is buried at Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial, Coton, South Cambridgeshire District, Cambridgeshire, England.
