Thaddeus was KIA In the fights over the Battle of the Bulge, on Jan. 9, 1945, and he is honored with the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Army Presidential Unit Citation, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal.
And he is buried at Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, Hamm, Luxembourg.
