Howard was born in, 1925 in Mobile, Alabama.

 

Father, Howard Maynard Allen.

 

Howard enlisted the service in Mississippi with service number # 0-363428.

 

Howard’s rank/duty was a Ensign flying with the Navy Torpedo Squadron VT-12 based on-board the USS Randolph CV-15.

 

Howard died during a crash in the Sea during a simulated attack on the Ship, on March 10, 1945, Ensign Howard M. Allen Jr. is honored with a Purple Heart, Air Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Howard is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
