Arthur was born  on Jun. 27, 1924  in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

Sister, Eloise H. Adrian.  

 

Arthur entered  the service from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania in April 12, 1943 with service-number # 33603340.

 

Arthur was KIA when the plane was hit while attacking  a Japanese Minesweeper, on March 21, 1945,  is honored with a  Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Purple Heart, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.
