Malcolm entered  the Service from Illinois with service # 6106223.

 

Malcolm died when the ship sunk in typhoon Cobra in the Philippine Sea, on Dec. 18, 1944.

, he is honored with a Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

 Malcolm is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
