James was born  on Nov. 5, 1922 in Barrett, Harris County, Texas.

 

Father, Claude Adams.

 

James entered  the Service from Texas with service number # 3602667.

 

James was KIA during the Fights in the Battle for Guadacanal on Nov. 14, 1943, he is honored with a  Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Janes is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
