Hubert was KIA on board the USS Arizona, when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on  Dec. 7, 1941, Fireman Second Class, Hubert C. T. Aaron is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Expeditionary Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

Hubert is buried at Courts of the Missing, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, United States
