Frank was KIA when it was Sunk by the Japanese armed Freighter Kano Maru, near the Kiska Harbor, Alaska entry on, July 30, 1942, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat action ibbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Frank is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
