Hubert enlisted the service in Alabama with service number # 427845.

 

Hubert died of his wounds in Hospital, sustained during the Landing on Iwo Jima and was buried at sea on 8 March, 1945,  he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, American Campaign Medal, Navy & Marine Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

Hubert is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu County, Hawaii U.S.A.
